Job summary

Techify Care, Inc. is seeking Field Support Technicians to perform on-site POS device installation and ongoing support for retailers. You will deinstall old devices, install P630 and M425 POS devices, configure networks, and run tests to ensure reliable operation.

Candidates should have field service or IT hardware installation experience, basic networking skills, the ability to travel to multiple stores, and strong customer service and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Field service experience or POS hardware installation preferred.
• Basic networking knowledge required.
• Ability to work independently and travel to assigned locations.
• Professional communication and customer-service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Check in with the Manager on Duty and review the work order.
• Deinstall existing POS devices and cables.
• Install and configure POS devices (P630/M425) and required cabling.
• Enter network settings and complete device pairing/configuration.
• Perform required downloads, reboots, and system testing.
• Complete a test transaction with the store/branch manager.
• Clean the work area and obtain client sign-off before checkout.
