Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc is seeking a Portfolio Solutions Engineer for US Commercial in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. You will co‑own a Dallas territory with an Account Executive, representing the full Cisco portfolio including AI‑ready data centers, Networking, Security, Observability, and Collaboration.

The role requires the ability to lead discovery, design, demos, and proofs of concept, and to collaborate with channel partners to deliver measurable customer outcomes in a fast‑moving market.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience designing, operating, or selling enterprise IT infrastructure.
• CCNP-level certification or equivalent, or the ability to earn it within 12 months of joining.
• Proven ability to explain complex technology to both technical and business audiences.
• Based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. Most customer meetings are local, with occasional travel elsewhere in Texas and out of state.

Responsibilities

• Co-own the Dallas-area territory with the Account Executive and represent the full Cisco portfolio.
• Lead discovery, design, demonstrations, and proofs of concept that move opportunities forward.
• Work with channel partners to pair their services with Cisco solutions to solve customer needs.
• Translate technology into business outcomes and ensure customer adoption after purchase.
