Job summary

Cisco is seeking a Solutions Engineer for the US Commercial team in San Francisco. This role focuses on Enterprise Networking, Data Center, Collaboration, Security, Automation, and Cloud, partnering with Account Executives in pre-sales activities such as demonstrations, BoMs, and PoC tests.

The SE will design solutions that meet customer outcomes, leveraging Cisco products and services while showcasing strong presentation and troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry-related experience.
• Cisco product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings in technology area of emphasis is required.
• CCNP or CCIE preferred.
• BS/BA in EE/CS or relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Technology solution consultant to the customer and Cisco account team.
• Leverage Cisco technology, services, and support specialists.
• Collaborate with Account Manager on account planning.
• Educate the customer on Cisco differentiation and demand creation.
• Set a brand preference to Cisco.
• Align Cisco’s product and services capabilities to customers’ business drivers.
