Job summary

Avanti Residential is seeking an Area Manager in Miami, FL to direct site management across a portfolio of communities. This role leads a team of Community Managers, drives occupancy and resident satisfaction, and ensures asset preservation with strong financial stewardship.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of property management supervisory experience, a bachelor’s in PM/Real Estate (master’s preferred), and proficiency with Yardi.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory responsibility in property management.
• Experience managing a portfolio of 800+ multi-family units preferred.
• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Build a productive, motivated culture across all communities in the portfolio.
• Lead change management and support Community Managers through updates.
• Oversee inquiries from residents, vendors, prospective residents and guests; maintain relationships.
• Hold Community Managers to budget guidelines and address monthly variances.
• Review resident files for transfers, evictions, medical and accommodation requests; make decisions.
• Oversee physical conditions of communities to meet quality standards.
• Walk communities regularly to ensure assets are kept in excellent condition.
