Job summary

Avanti Residential in Miami, FL is seeking an Area Manager to direct and supervise site management activities across a portfolio of communities in property management. You will drive occupancy, resident satisfaction, and asset preservation, leading a team of Community Managers and on-site staff.

The role requires 3+ years in property management with supervisory responsibility, budgeting skills, and proficiency with Yardi; a Bachelor's is preferred and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in property management, real estate, business administration, or related field.
• Master's degree in business administration preferred.
• 3+ years of experience with increasing responsibility in property management.
• 3+ years of supervisory responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Build a productive, motivated, and goal‑oriented culture across every community in the assigned portfolio.
• Lead positive change management behavior and support Community Managers through organizational updates.
• Oversee resident, vendor, prospective resident, and guest inquiries, and maintain professional relationships across the portfolio.
• Hold Community Managers accountable to budget guidelines throughout the year and ensure timely response to monthly variances.
• Review resident files for transfers, evictions, reasonable accommodation requests, medical requests, and complaints; evaluate and implement decisions.
• Oversee the physical condition of each community, including office space, restrooms, amenity areas, parking lots, and showing units, to ensure they meet Avanti's quality and presentation standards.
• Walk assigned communities regularly to confirm each asset is kept in excellent condition.
