FirstService Residential is seeking a Portfolio Manager to lead operations for communities from New Castle County down to Upper Kent County, Delaware. You will oversee staff, ensure compliance with governing documents, and align with the Boards to execute the mission and vision of the communities.

The role requires extensive community management experience, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate with public, private and volunteer groups while maintaining service quality and governance

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ experience in Property Operations, Hospitality or Construction; state certifications preferred
• Seven years of community management experience with 4+ years supervising staff
• Understanding of building management, condominium law, and financial planning for properties
• Valid Driver’s License and state-mandated vehicle insurance
• Pursuit of CPM, PCAM, ARM or AMS designations or equivalent

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership and direction for short- and long-range plans to achieve Board objectives
• Review organization structure, job descriptions, and functions; advise Board on changes
• Partner with public, private and volunteer orgs to provide community services
• Support Board sub-committees and governance processes
• Maintain knowledge of governing documents and propose revisions
• Ensure seamless connection between Board and committees
• Lead annual budget development and monitor financial position
• Recruit, hire, train and supervise community staff per management plan
• Coordinate with emergency services to uphold evacuation plans
• Ensure compliance with civil code, declarations and governing requirements
• Oversee building inspections and continued diligence to protect assets
• Attend Board meetings and provide agenda support and reports
• Maintain master calendars and budgets and implement approved programs
• Communicate with other departments and external groups to meet community needs
