Job summary

FirstService Residential seeks an experienced Community Manager to lead operations, align with Board directives, and oversee staff and budgets for a NJ community. The role emphasizes governance, compliance, and resident satisfaction, with daily supervision and strategic planning.

The position requires a strong background in community management, a valid driver’s license, and pursuit of CPM/PCAM/ARM designations. Expect on-site duties in Edgewater, NJ with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field and three years’ experience in Property Operations, Hospitality or Construction; or equivalent education/experience.
• Seven years of successful community management experience, with at least four years leading staff.
• CPM/PCAM/ARM or equivalent designations encouraged.
• Valid Driver’s License and State mandated vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to develop short- and long-term community plans.
• Oversee operations and ensure compliance with governing documents and budgets.
• Manage staff, budgets, and relations with Board, committees, and residents.
• Collaborate with emergency services and external partners as needed.
• Monitor financial position and report monthly results to the Board.
• Ensure site safety and maintain association policies and schedules.
