Job summary

NFI Industries seeks a Drayage Dispatcher to coordinate driver utilization for container movements between port locations and customer facilities. You will provide load planning, scheduling, and dispatch for in-house and sub-hauler fleets with emphasis on timely communication and accuracy.

Candidates must have port drayage experience, a high school diploma, and bilingual English/Spanish proficiency. Prior experience with Trinium TMS and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year port drayage experience with ocean container drayage customers at ports.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience in drayage/intermodal business.
• Strong customer service principles and practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Well organized with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with Trinium TMS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan load utilization and driver scheduling for in-house owner operator fleet and sub-haulers.
• Maintain positive relations with dispatchers and drivers.
• Communicate service issues to facility departments daily.
• Provide daily/weekly KPI data reports.
• Manage operations inputs for driver settlements.
• Use Trinium system to address issues and document interactions.
• Maintain sufficient sub-haulers for volume spikes.
• Follow escalation processes for major service issues.
• Respond promptly to driver or carrier needs.
• Accurately enter load statuses in the system.
• Assist with safety, security, and operations program rollouts.
• Complete daily and weekly tasks timely.
