Job description

Join to apply for the Popeyes Shift Leader role at GPS Hospitality.

Position Description:

We need a Shift Leader to join our restaurant team. Shift Leaders are trained to perform all duties of Team Members, with additional responsibility for directing daily restaurant operations in the absence of the Restaurant General Manager and Assistant Manager. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with company standards in product preparation and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance, team management, and other duties as assigned.

Position Duties include:

  1. Ensuring outstanding service and guest satisfaction
  2. Training and coaching the team
  3. Utilizing GPS Hospitality Systems for daily operations
  4. Maintaining excellent knowledge of restaurant operations
  5. Providing coaching and feedback
  6. Supervising according to GPS values and behaviors
  7. Demonstrating strong problem-solving skills
  8. Enforcing cash policies and addressing violations
  9. Performing other duties as assigned by the RGM

Position Requirements:

  • 0-2 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail setting
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume setting
