Create Music Group in Los Angeles is seeking a motivated Pop/Electronic - Music Publishing Assistant to support the Publishing team with client onboards, metadata, and disputes with collection societies. This is a full-time role in our Hollywood office.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in music publishing administration, strong Excel/Google skills, and comfort with YouTube and data management. This position offers opportunities to contribute to revenue recovery and client services.

Pop/Electronic - Music Publishing Assistant

Create Music Group is currently looking for a Pop/Electronic - Music Publishing Assistant to join our publishing department. This role is responsible for assisting the Music Publishing team with client onboards, maintaining metadata, and settling split disputes with collection societies and publishers. This is a full-time position located in our Hollywood office. We have helped our clients monetize and collected millions in previously unclaimed revenue for artists and labels.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1-3 years of work/internship experience or education in music publishing administration (experience at a music publishing company or record label preferred)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of internet culture and social media platforms, especially YouTube
• Conducting basic level research
• Organizing large amounts of data efficiently
• Proficiency with Mac OSX, Microsoft Office, and Google Apps

PLUSES:

• Experience working with collections societies (ASCAP, BMI, Harry Fox, etc.)
• Experience with data management systems
• Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Experience with Label Engine or other music distribution services (Distrokid, Tunecore, CD Baby, etc)
• Experience with YouTube’s Content Management System

RESPONSIBILITIES:
