Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole seeks an experienced Bartender to deliver premier beverage service at the resort’s bar and lounge. You will describe menu items, manage orders, and provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests in a fast-paced luxury setting.

The role requires 1–2 years in a luxury resort, fluent English, and the ability to stand for long shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and legal work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality beverage service to resort guests and servers.
• Take orders at the bar and describe items' origin, taste, and prep.
• Prepare and serve wines, spirits, and drinks per recipes and Four Seasons standards.
• Maintain a high level of guest service with consistent, thoughtful service.
• Follow state and city alcohol laws while adhering to Four Seasons standards.
• Close guest checks and process payments using the hotel POS system.
• Perform additional side duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• The Bartender provides resort guests and servers with the highest quality, quick and efficient beverage service.
• Take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item's, origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beers, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs and specialty drinks.
• Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons Standards.
• The Bartender must maintain and control a high level of guest service achieved by ensuring consistent and thoughtful service.
• Follow the state and city alcohol law while adhering to Four Seasons standards of service.
• The Bartender has a complete working knowledge of all products served by the bar and ensures that all the details of service are performed properly
• Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the lounge server using the hotel's point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the guest's original order
• The Bartender is also required to perform additional side duties.
• Working knowledge of the Micros system is essential. Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary items.

Preferred Qualifications

• We are looking for individuals with excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• The ideal candidate will have a confident outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request.
• Applicants must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
• The Bartender position requires continuous standing for up to 8 hours a day and requires the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• 1-2 years experience in a luxury resort
• Fluent English
• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
