Job summary

Four Seasons Jackson Hole is seeking a Banquet Server to join our luxury operations. You will provide outstanding service and expert knowledge of food & beverage items, delivering memorable experiences for guests at events in a premier mountain resort.

Join a team that emphasizes service excellence and career growth in a world-class hotel setting. Flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays, are required to support busy banquet schedules in a seasonal mountain destination.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Some travel may be required.
• Experience in luxury hotel F&B.
• Strong presentation/communication skills.
• Ability to follow detailed event instructions.
• Ability to multi-task in a high volume and demanding environment.
• Legal work authorization in the United States required.

Responsibilities

• The Banquet Server serves guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of food & beverage menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods.
• Have a passion for food and wine and exceptional service.
• Offer pre-determined menu selections to each table.
• Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the Banquet Manager or kitchen;
• Transport items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.
• Greet guests in a professional manner and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Assist in set-up of linen, china, glass, silver, and accent pieces for each function according to the banquet event order.
• Respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Plate, prepare and serve food.
• Assist with set-up and breakdown of banquet events.
• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management.

Preferred Qualifications And Skills

• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities. This will include early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Some travel may be required.
• Preferred experience in a luxury hotel in food and beverage service
• Strong oral presentation skills
• Ability to follow detailed instructions regarding events
• Ability to multi-task in a high volume and demanding environment
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to handle difficult situations
• Legal work authorization in the United States required
