Job summary

Four Seasons Jackson Hole is seeking a guest service associate focused on counter service for food and beverage orders. You will describe menu items in detail, accommodate guest requests, and work with the team to ensure smooth luxury service near Grand Teton.

Required: High School diploma or better, strong English, knowledge of coffee/food, and legal US work authorization. Benefits include discounted housing, employee travel program, health coverage, and five weeks of paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Provide counter service to guests, taking verbal requests and expediting with POS system.
• Describe menu items with interesting, vivid details on origin, taste and prep.
• Accommodate orders, anticipate needs, and respond to guest concerns promptly.
• Assist with daily inventory, ordering, and stocking food, beverage and paper goods.
• Collaborate professionally with coworkers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Providing counter service to guests through taking verbal requests for food and accommodating the expediting of such requests. Including any special needs or requests through using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the guest’s original order; provide items to the guest at the counter or table in a timely manner.
• Have the ability to describe the selection of food and beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods.
• Accommodate guest orders, anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Assist with daily inventory and ordering and stock food and beverage and paper supplies.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications And Skills

• High School or college degree preferred
• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Coffee, tea and food knowledge
• Strong commitment to service
• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
