Job summary

Four Seasons Jackson Hole is seeking a professional bartender/ server to deliver exceptional dining experiences. You will welcome guests, take orders, describe menu items, and provide wine and spirits knowledge in a luxury setting.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of bartending/serving in fast-paced high-end restaurants, are fluent in English, and can work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and have legal US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Offer guests an enjoyable, expertly served beverage/dining experience.
• Take guest orders and describe menu items with vivid origin, taste, and preparation details.
• Provide fast, compliant beverage service adhering to state/city laws and Four Seasons standards.
• Maintain knowledge of all bar products and ensure top-quality service for every guest.
• Provide wine/spirits knowledge in an elegant environment and capture preferences for the kitchen/POS.
• Communicate orders including any special needs to kitchen.
• Perform side duties such as setup/breakdown of tables and silverware, as assigned.
• Offer in-depth knowledge of the restaurant, resort, and surrounding area.

Responsibilities

• Offer guests an enjoyable, expertly served beverage/dining experience.
• Take guest orders and describe the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting and vivid descriptions of each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods.
• Provides resort guests and servers with quick and efficient beverage service, following the state and city alcohol law while adhering to Four Seasons standards of service.
• Complete working knowledge of all products served by the bar and ensures that all the details of service are performed properly and that every guest receives the highest quality of service.
• Ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience.
• Make food or drink recommendations/suggestions, confirm allergies or preferences and ensure information is captured and facilitated accurately to kitchen team and POS system.
• Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen.
• Perform additional side duties including breakdown, clean and set-up of tables, silverware preparation, and other tasks or projects as assigned by management.
• Provide an in-depth knowledge of the restaurant, resort and surrounding area.

Preferred Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have a confident outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request.
• Candidates must have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Fluent English
• 1-2 year bartending/serving experience in a fast-paced high-end restaurant setting required.
• Ability to push, pull or lift up to 40lbs.
• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
