Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking an experienced Technical Service and Development Scientist to join the Polyurethanes team at its headquarters in Marietta, GA.

You will lead technical interactions with customers, collaborate across technical, commercial and manufacturing functions, and develop new products for rigid polyurethane foam applications. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field; military experience acceptable at U.S. E5 or Canadian equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience leading projects and formulating/producing rigid polyurethane foams.
• US work authorization required; no visa sponsorship available.”

Responsibilities

• Designs value-creating solutions for customer problems within defined scope.
• Plans and executes experiments; interprets results and refines hypotheses.
• Provides technical support for trials and scale-up of Dow products at customer sites.
• Collaborates across research, commercial, supply chain and manufacturing functions.
• Contributes to IP development while protecting Dow’s know-how with customers.
• Represents Dow Polyurethanes in external professional activities and markets trends.
• Documents work in internal reports and presentations.
