Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking an experienced Technical Service and Development Scientist to lead technical interactions with customers in rigid polyurethane foam applications at our Polyurethanes HQ in Marietta, GA.

You will develop new products, support trials, and scale-up processes while collaborating across technical, commercial, and manufacturing teams. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 6 years of relevant experience, with US work eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field (or equivalent military experience).
• Minimum 6 years’ experience leading projects and formulating/bringing rigid foam polyurethane products to market.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Designs value-creating solutions for customer problems within defined scope.
• Plans and executes experiments; interprets results and refines hypotheses.
• Provides technical support for trials and scale-up of Dow products at customer locations.
• Collaborates across research, commercial, supply chain and manufacturing teams.
• Documents work via internal reports and presentations.
