Job summary

Dow Inc. in Marietta, GA seeks an experienced polyurethane formulator for the Technical Service and Development Scientist role within the Polyurethanes Business Headquarters. You will lead technical interactions with customers and collaborate across technical, commercial, and manufacturing functions to deliver solutions.

You will support trials, troubleshoot application challenges at customer sites, and help scale up new products from lab to production while documenting outcomes and progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in rigid foam polyurethane products.
• US work authorization; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Designs value-creating solutions for customer problems within defined scope and impact.
• Develops hypotheses, plans and executes experiments, interprets results, and revises hypotheses.
• Provides technical support for trials and scale-up of Dow products at customer locations.
• Collaborates across research, commercial, supply chain and manufacturing teams.
• Documents work in internal reports and presentations.
