Job summary

Salesforce is seeking Deployment Strategists — Strategic Builders who are customer-facing advisors defining AI strategy and shaping agentic solutions for enterprise customers. Engagements are time-bound and may involve multiple customers; you’ll drive real value from deployments that go live.

You’ll work with Forward Deployed Engineers to translate complex business challenges into agentic AI deployments, with 12-week engagements typical and a focus on scalable value realization.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in strategic solutioning, technical advisory, or delivery leadership for enterprise cloud or SaaS.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Prior customer-facing delivery experience is required.
• Demonstrated understanding of Salesforce platform and Data Cloud.
• Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript, Java, or Apex.
• Proven ability to lead complex engagements end-to-end with measurable outcomes.
• Experience leading AI/LLM solution design and responsible AI practices.
• Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end customer engagement across the complete value lifecycle—Identify → Commit → Deploy → Consume.
• Define the customer’s Agentic AI Strategy and architecture; run design workshops.
• Manage engagement delivery timelines, risk, and progress reporting.
• Own adoption, consumption, and expansion metrics within your scope.
• Coordinate with Forward Deployed Engineers to align strategy with execution.
• Develop real customer solutions supported by AI tools and platforms.
• Manage senior stakeholder relationships and present business-value outcomes.
• Assess AI readiness and guide change management to maximise benefits.
• Synthesize field insights into actionable product feedback for the roadmap.
