Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions is seeking a Power Drive: POD 730 - Disassembly (TH180) associate to perform disassembly and cleaning of engine and transmission components.

You will verify BOM tags, remove bolts and seals, and progressively access internal parts through the unit while ensuring safe handling of parts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand or walk an entire shift (8–10 hours).
• Experience using handheld tools such as impacts, pneumatic drills and hammers.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble units by removing bolts, seals and exterior components.
• Remove oil pan and uncover internal parts for inspection.
• Clean parts with solvent, place in baskets, and run through washer.

Power Drive: POD 730- Disassembly (TH180)

Job Overview

There are a variety of tasks this position completes, including operation of basic hand tools and the detailed cleaning of parts using solvents, brushes, and scrapers. First, the associate must verify the tag of the BOM matches the unit (core) provided. Following this step, the associate will start the disassembly process by removing bolts, seals, etc. from the outside of the unit. Then will continue by removing the oil pan of the unit, uncovering the internal parts. Next is the removal of the valve body, pump(s), wiring harness, clutch packs, etc. Following this step, associates must clean parts using solvent, place parts in baskets, and send them through a washer.

Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pmOvertime available

Qualifications

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours)
• The ability to use handheld tools such as Impacts, Pneumatic Drills, Hammers etc.

Starting rate $20.00 + based on experience.
