Job summary

Jasper Engines is hiring for an engine disassembly associate in Jasper, Indiana. The role involves removing bolts and components to dismantle engine cores, then sorting parts for washing using a variety of tools. Applicants should demonstrate strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving ability.

The shift runs Mon-Fri, 6:30am–3:00pm, with ample safety and training resources. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour plus experience-based increases, plus PTO after 30 days and holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• Able to stand or walk for the full shift (8–10 hours).

Responsibilities

• Disassemble the engine core, removing bolts, rings, seals, and pistons.
• Load parts into a basket and prep for washing.
• Use handheld tools (impacts, drills, hammers) as needed during disassembly.

Job Overview: Associates disassemble the entire engine core, which includes removal of bolts, rings, seals, connector rods, pistons, cylinder heads, etc... Associates do this by using various tools like impacts, drills, sockets, hammers, and specialized tooling. After removing the parts, they will then load the various parts in a basket, prepping them to be washed. Must have excellent attention to detail, strong hand dexterity and problem-solving skills.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm

Qualifications

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours)
• The ability to use handheld tools such as impacts, hammers, and drills.
• Standing: 8 hrs.
• Walking: 2 hrs.
• Stooping (forward leaning): sometimes.
• Reaching/Working Overhead: sometimes

• Starting rate $20.00 + based on experience.
