Job summary

JASPER Engines & Transmissions is seeking personnel for Gas-POD 40 Assembly in Jasper, Indiana. The role focuses on inspecting, assembling, and potentially testing components to meet Quality standards.

You will work with handheld tools and support a Dyno operator to validate builds in a fast-paced team setting. Starting at $20.00 per hour plus experience-based increases, the position offers overtime, a climate-controlled environment, and a comprehensive benefits package including

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand or walk an entire shift (8–10 hours).
• Proficiency with handheld tools such as drills, impacts, and torque wrenches.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, build and potentially test the product to meet Quality standards.
• Operate the Dyno (test stand) to validate build quality of completed units.
• Collaborate in a fast-paced, team environment; computer skills are preferred but not required.

Job Overview

Gas - POD 40 Assembly. This position requires high attention to detail. They will be responsible for inspecting, building, and potentially testing the product to meet expectations set forth by Quality to ensure the perfect product for our customers. They will use general handheld tools when completing the processes. Within the Assembly team, there is a Dyno (test stand) Operator who is responsible for live running completed units to validate build quality. Computer skills are preferred but not required. This is a fast-paced, team environment.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm
• Overtime available

Qualifications

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx. 8-10 hours).
• The ability to use handheld tools such as drills, impacts, and torque wrenches.
