JASPER Engines & Transmissions is hiring for a POD 700 Pump Assembly role. You will inspect pumps, perform assembly, and ensure gear clearance is within spec using feeler gauges and torque tools. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to operate measuring equipment with precision.

The job offers a steady Monday–Friday schedule, with overtime and a starting rate of $20 per hour, based on experience. Benefits include medical coverage, PTO, and a 401(k) plan with company matches.

Power Drive Transmission – POD 700 Pump Assembly Job Overview:

Responsibilities

• Pump assembly- Inspect pump for damage, remove bushing- utilizing a press, sand burrs if needed, bring gear clearance within spec by sanding and measuring with feeler gauges.
• Assemble pump and torque bolts to spec using torque tools.
• Pump assembly stations require an individual who is a decision-maker, has an eye for detail, can utilize various types of tools, machinery, and gauging equipment and must have good hand dexterity.

• Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pmOvertime available

Qualifications

• Qualifications: The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours)
• The ability to use handheld tools such as straight edge, feeler gauge, impact, inline torque gun, hydraulic press or arbor press, and slide hammer.
