Job summary

Jasper Engines is seeking a detail-oriented associate to prepare remanufactured parts. You will inspect parts for cracks, clean as needed, and input quantities into a computer.

The role requires dexterity and the ability to operate impact tools and drills in a fast-paced setting. Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 3:00pm, with opportunities for wage increases based on performance and experience.

Qualifications

• Must be detail oriented and able to input quantities accurately.
• Computer literacy is required for inputting part quantities and tracking work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and dexterity with hand tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Wash parts and, if needed, clean with a buffer or contact cleaner.
• Inspect parts for cracks and wear; determine good vs. bad parts.
• Load items onto a cart and move them as required.
• Input part quantities into a computer system.
• Use handheld tools such as impact wrenches and drills.

Job description

Job Overview: Associates will take the washed parts and if any parts need further cleaning, they will utilize a buffer or contact cleaner to remove any excess dirt or rust. The parts are then checked for cracks and areas of wear and loaded onto a cart. This individual must be detail oriented along with having strong hand dexterity. Associates utilize various tools such as impact or drill. They will inspect the parts verify whether they are good or bad and use a computer to input part quantities. This individual must be detail oriented, computer literate, and have problem-solving skills as well as being able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm

Qualifications:

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours)
• The ability to use handheld tools such as Impacts and drills.
• Walking: Minimal

• Reaching/Working Overhead: None

• Starting rate $20.00 + based on experience.
