Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions is seeking a final assembly associate in Jasper, Indiana. The role requires assembling components using hoists and hand tools, while maintaining a fast-paced, organized, and quality-driven approach throughout a full shift.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with a starting rate near $20.00 per hour, plus experience-based increases, and a comprehensive benefits package including retirement plans and a company-supported fitness and medical clinic on site.

Qualifications

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (approximately 8–10 hours).
• The ability to use handheld tools such as impact tools, wrenches, torque wrenches.

Job description

Job Overview

The final assembly position is very detail-oriented and labor intensive. This position is responsible for putting all components back together for the final product utilizing hoist apparatus, impact tools, and hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, and wrenches. Associates must be fast paced, organized, and quality driven.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm

Qualifications

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
