Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions is hiring for a position requiring the inspection of pump components, operation of hand tools, and physical stamina. The role involves removing bushings with a press, deburring as needed, and precisely measuring gear clearance using a feeler gauge.

Job Overview:

Inspect pump for damage, remove bushing- utilizing a press, sand burrs if needed, measure gear clearance using a feeler gauge.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm

Qualifications

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours)
• The ability to use handheld tools such as Hammer, Screwdrivers, pliers, Torque wrench.
• Walking: Occasionally
• Stooping (forward leaning) Occasionally
• Reaching/Working Overhead: Occasionally

• Starting rate $20.00 + based on experience.
