Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions is seeking associates for gas-POD 40 disassembly. You will disassemble the engine core and remove bolts, rings, seals, pistons, and heads using impacts, drills, sockets, hammers, and specialized tooling.

After disassembly, parts are prepared for washing, with emphasis on accuracy and safety. The role requires physical capability, keen attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand or walk an entire shift (8–10 hours).
• Ability to use handheld tools such as impacts, hammers, and drills.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble engine core components using various tools.
• Load parts into baskets for washing preparation.
• Maintain attention to detail and adhere to safety standards.

Gas - POD 40 Disassembly

Job Overview: Associates disassemble the entire engine core, which includes removal of bolts, rings, seals, connector rods, pistons, cylinder heads, etc... Associates do this by using various tools like impacts, drills, sockets, hammers, and specialized tooling. After removing the parts, they will then load the various parts in a basket, prepping them to be washed. Must have excellent attention to detail, strong hand dexterity and problem-solving skills.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm
• Overtime available

Qualifications

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours)
• The ability to use handheld tools such as impacts, hammers, and drills.
• Standing: 8 hrs.
• Walking: 2 hrs.
• Sitting: 0 hrs.
• Stooping (forward leaning): sometimes.
• Reaching/Working Overhead: sometimes

• Starting rate $20.00 + based on experience.
