Job summary

Apprenti is seeking a Project Manager to join our PMO, directing cross-functional projects to enhance scalability and performance. You will convert strategy into actionable initiatives, manage portfolio intake, and mentor teammates in a remote setting.

You will collaborate with leaders to identify improvements, develop detailed project plans, and deliver regular status updates to executives, ensuring governance and transparency across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in Project Management, PMO, or operational leadership roles.
• Experience operating within or supporting PMO governance, methodologies and reporting structures.
• Strong mentoring or people-management experience.
• Proven ability to manage a portfolio of concurrent projects and allocate resources.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent application of PMO methodology, templates, and governance standards across the portfolio.
• Drive cross-functional operational improvement projects from scoping through delivery.
• Manage daily intake and prioritization of project requests per governance criteria.
• Partner with leaders to identify process inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop project plans with timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Coordinate interdepartmental workstreams for alignment and accountability.
