The Director, Project Manager at CardWorks Financial Group leads medium-complexity technology and business initiatives in financial services, coordinating across client, vendor, and internal teams to deliver on time and within scope.

You will develop project plans, manage risks, and communicate progress to sponsors, ensuring governance, security, and regulatory requirements are met while driving cross-functional collaboration and successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• 7-8 years of project management experience coordinating technology and business initiatives.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project or similar tools.
• PMP certification preferred or willing to obtain within 12-24 months.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate technology and business projects from initiation through implementation.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs, and project documentation.
• Coordinate activities across business, technology, operations, vendors, implementation partners, and client stakeholders.
• Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, and stakeholder communications.
• Monitor progress, risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating as needed.
• Support testing, release readiness, and post-deployment activities as required.
• Prepare and communicate project status updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure activities align with governance, security, and regulatory standards.
