Job summary

The Alden Network in Des Plaines, IL is seeking CNAs for a 2 PM–10 PM shift to provide daily nursing care to residents in accordance with standards and policies. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, documenting care, and supporting the care team.

Candidates should have completed a nursing arts course and hold a CPR certificate (or obtain within two weeks). Strong English communication and teamwork are essential to ensure high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited nursing arts course and passed the competency evaluation.
• Must be at least 16 years old, with a high school diploma or GED.
• CPR certification current or obtained within two weeks of employment.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; able to interact with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily nursing care to residents following standards and policies.
• Assist with activities of daily living and writing a plan of care for residents.
• Participate in care conferences and resident/family meetings as invited.
• Record intake/output and monitor health indicators as directed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents.
