Job summary

Alden Poplar Creek Rehabilitation and Health Care Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the 3PM-11PM shift to provide daily nursing care to residents in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, documenting care, and reporting changes to the nursing staff. The role requires CPR certification or commitment to obtain it, and reading/writing English fluently to communicate with residents and team.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a nursing arts course in an accredited nurse training program as evidenced by a diploma, certificate, or other written verification.
• Must possess a high school diploma or G.E.D.
• Must possess current CPR certificate or become certified within two weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with daily nursing care in accordance with standards and policies.
• Read and write English in an understandable manner and communicate with residents and staff.
• Assist in care planning and participate in care conferences and rounds.
• Record intake and output and monitor vital signs as needed.
• Ensure safety and comfort of residents and maintain a clean, calm environment.
