Job summary

Alden Terrace of McHenry, part of The Alden Network, is seeking dedicated CNAs to join our post-acute and long-term care team in McHenry, IL. We offer full-time, part-time, and casual roles with a 2 PM–10 PM PM shift and opportunities for growth within the Alden network.

You will provide daily nursing care, support residents with ADLs, and ensure quality care with emphasis on compassionate, person-centered approaches. Training and benefits accompany our supportive facility culture.

Qualifications

• Must assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide direct care.
• Ability to complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Strong communication with residents, families and the care team.
• Collaborative, respectful teamwork in a post-acute and long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily nursing care to residents per standards and policies.
• Adhere to orientation and ongoing dementia care trainings for memory care unit staff.
• Know residents’ backgrounds and care needs to tailor interventions.
• Support restorative goals and track outcomes with the care team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and non-hazardous unit for residents and staff.
• Be flexible to meet changing resident needs and participate in team care.
