Job summary

Eskaton Lodge Granite Bay in Roseville, CA is seeking a part-time on-site care assistant to provide compassionate companion care and daily living support for residents. You will assist with bathing, dressing, activities, and coordinating with the care team to follow each resident's plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; 8 hours medication administration training with 85%+; 8 hours shadowing; 4 hours annual CE in medication administration; proficient English communication.

Responsibilities

• Provides companion care including reading, visiting, assisting with personal tasks per resident's plan.
• Assists with bathing and hygiene; makes beds and keeps care areas organized.
• Assists with dressing and privacy while providing care.
• Helps schedule medical appointments and may accompany residents to visits.
• Promotes independence and safety; assists with simple exercises and mobility.
• Administers or assists with medication after training; follows care plans.
