Job summary

VanDerBosch Plumbing Inc. is seeking an organized, highly communicative Plumbing & Sewer Service Dispatcher with a minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience performing dispatch duties in the plumbing or sewer service industry.

This role is responsible for managing daily field schedules, routing field technicians efficiently across the Chicago area, handling incoming customer service calls, and ensuring optimal technician utilization and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of dispatching experience in plumbing or sewer services.
• Familiarity with ServiceTitan and HouseCall Pro software.
• Strong knowledge of Chicago and surrounding suburbs.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch plumbing, sewer cleaning, and excavation technicians to service calls and projects.
• Prioritize and route daily service calls to minimize drive times and maximize efficiency.
• Serve as primary contact for field technicians and coordinate routing changes.
• Answer customer inquiries, collect job details, and set expectations for arrival times.
• Track technician locations and job progress in real time.
• Debrief technicians to verify notes, invoices, and follow-ups.
• Communicate with management to resolve scheduling conflicts and optimize workflow.
