Job summary

Happy Home is seeking a Plumbing Sales/Commercial Estimator to lead new business generation, on-site evaluations, and detailed estimates for residential and light commercial projects. You will present options, build trust with homeowners and managers, and drive closures while ensuring margins.

The role emphasizes consultative selling, collaboration with field teams, and ongoing CRM documentation to support relationships and repeat business.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in plumbing industry (field, service, or sales) with knowledge of codes and installation.
• Proven sales, estimating or customer-facing success; in-home or trade sales preferred.
• Ability to scope and price plumbing jobs and read plans.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills; strong relationship-building ability.
• Experience with CRM software and estimating tools.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Plumbing license or journeyman is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Business Development: proactively generate new business and maintain relationships with homeowners, property managers, and contractors.
• Estimates: perform on-site evaluations, prepare detailed estimates with labor, materials, and permits, and present options.
• Customer Experience: be primary contact, resolve questions, document all interactions in the CRM/field system.
• Operations: coordinate scope, schedule, and execution with service manager and technicians; track win/loss results.
