Job summary

Happy Home is seeking a Plumbing Sales/Commercial Estimator to drive new business, build customer relationships, and convert opportunities into signed work. You will evaluate jobs on-site, prepare detailed estimates, and present options to homeowners and property managers, closing sales with competitive pricing.

The role blends technical plumbing knowledge with consultative selling, requiring field travel, strong communication, and a customer-first approach to protect the company’s reputation

Qualifications

• 3+ years in plumbing industry (field, service, or sales).
• Proven success in sales, estimating, or customer-facing roles.
• Ability to scope and price plumbing jobs; read plans when needed.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; ability to pass background/drug screening.
• Plumbing license or journeyman a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Proactively generate new business through referrals, networking, community engagement, and follow-up on leads.
• Build and maintain relationships with homeowners, property managers, builders, general contractors, and commercial accounts.
• Represent the company at trade events, home shows, and community functions.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and meet monthly/quarterly sales targets.
• Perform on-site evaluations of residential and light commercial plumbing projects.
• Prepare accurate estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, and permits.
• Present options (good/better/best) and close the sale.
• Document all customer interactions and sales activity in the CRM/field system.
