Job summary

Happy Home is seeking a Plumbing Sales/Commercial Estimator to represent our plumbing division in the field. You will evaluate jobs on-site, prepare detailed estimates, and present options to homeowners, property managers, and contractors to close deals.

The role blends technical plumbing knowledge with consultative selling, requiring strong communication, network-building, and the ability to travel locally to customer sites. A clean driving record is required and a plumbing license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in plumbing field, service, or sales with solid plumbing knowledge.
• Proven success in sales, estimating, or customer-facing roles in-home or trade sales preferred.
• Ability to scope and price jobs, read plans, and explain work clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site evaluations of residential and light commercial plumbing projects.
• Prepare detailed estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and permits.
• Present options (good/better/best) and close the sale with customers.
• Coordinate scope, schedule, and execution with service manager and field techs.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and track win/loss results.
