Job summary

Happy Home is seeking a Plumbing Sales/Commercial Estimator to generate new business, build customer relationships, and close opportunities with precise estimates and compelling proposals. You will evaluate sites, prepare detailed bids, and present options to homeowners, property managers, and contractors.

The role blends technical plumbing knowledge with consultative selling, requiring strong communication, relationship-building, and on-site assessment skills to drive profitable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years plumbing industry experience (field, service, or sales) required.
• Proven success in sales, estimating, or customer-facing roles.
• Ability to scope and price plumbing jobs, read plans when needed, and explain technical work clearly.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through referrals, networking, and leads.
• Build relationships with homeowners, property managers, builders, and commercial accounts.
• Represent the company at trade events, home shows, and community functions.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and meet monthly/quarterly targets.
• Provide on-site evaluations and prepare detailed estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and permits.
• Present good/better/best options and close the sale.
• Document all interactions and sales activity in the CRM.
