Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) seeks a PLM Analyst to prepare and analyze environmental samples, primarily asbestos, using Polarized Light Microscopy. You will validate data, enter results into LIMS, and schedule workloads to meet due dates.

The role requires a geology-related degree (preferred), 1–3 years lab experience, color discrimination, and strong English proficiency. Competitive hourly compensation includes benefits, with Tue–Sat 1:00pm–9:00pm shifts.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geology or similar is preferred.
• 1–3 years laboratory experience.
• Computer and software proficient.
• Ability to multitask.
• Must distinguish colors.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze environmental samples for asbestos.
• Enter data descriptions and analysis results into LIMS.
• Perform independent QC analysis on others’ work.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment as needed.
• Coordinate projects by rush status and due dates.
• Train new analysts in PLM procedures.
• Support QA processes and maintain compliance with SOPs.
