Job summary

Eurofins Built Environment Testing in Tustin, CA is hiring an Asbestos Analyst to perform PLM-based analysis of bulk samples and manage data entry in the LIMS. The role requires a chemistry or biology-related bachelor’s degree and 0-1+ years of asbestos microscopy experience, with US work authorization.

The analyst will support QA, maintain equipment and contribute to accreditation efforts while coordinating workloads with the team and regional management. Weekend or overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• 0-1+ years of asbestos microscopy experience using PLM.
• Bachelor's degree in a closely related science as listed above.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze asbestos-containing samples using PLM.
• Enter and report analytical data in the LIMS accurately.
• Perform data reviews and quality control on results.
• Assist QA with processes and accreditation activities.
• Coordinate workload and communicate capacity to the Regional Manager.
• Support other lab departments as needed.
