Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) seeks an Asbestos Analyst in Folsom, CA. The role focuses on bulk sample analysis using PLM for asbestos, data entry into LIMS, and ensuring QA compliance. Not located in Honolulu, relocation assistance is available.

The ideal candidate will have asbestos microscopy experience, a relevant science degree, and US work authorization. Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, full-time with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of asbestos microscopy experience; 2–3 years ideal.
• Must be able to work in Folsom, CA.
• Bachelor's degree in microbiology, biology, geology or related science.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English (read, write, speak).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze aerobiological and environmental samples for asbestos.
• Enter and report analytical data using the LIMS.
• Perform independent data reviews for other analysts’ work.
• Perform quality control tests on reference materials and proficiency samples.
• Provide technical support to clients and maintain client service.
• Assist QA manager with QA processes and data collection.
• Maintain laboratory accreditation processes and training documents.
