Job summary

Eurofins USA Environment Testing is seeking an experienced Asbestos Analyst in Folsom, CA to perform bulk sample analysis using PLM for asbestos. The role requires meticulous data entry into the LIMS and adherence to QA procedures, with the ability to support client services and QA processes.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of asbestos microscopy experience, a relevant science degree, and U.S. work authorization.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of asbestos microscopy experience (2-3 years ideal).
• Must be able to work in Folsom, CA.
• Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, biology, geology or closely related science.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze aerobiological and environmental samples for asbestos.
• Enter and report analytical data using the LIMS.
• Perform data reviews and QC as needed.
• Assist in pursuing and maintaining laboratory accreditations.
• Support QA processes and client services.
