Job summary

Eurofins Built Environment Testing is seeking an Asbestos Analyst in Folsom, CA. The role centers on analyzing bulk samples for asbestos using PLM, entering data into the LIMS, and generating client reports in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of asbestos microscopy experience, a related bachelor's degree, and strong English communication skills, with a full-time schedule and relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience performing asbestos microscopy (2-3 years ideal).
• Must be able to work in Folsom, CA.
• Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, biology, geology or a closely related science.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing and speaking).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze aerobiological and environmental samples for asbestos.
• Enter and report analytical data using the LIMS.
• Perform data reviews for other analysts’ work.
• Maintain and update QA documentation and training records as needed.
• Coordinate sample workload and communicate capacity to management.
• Support QA processes and maintain lab equipment and accreditations.
