Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is seeking a PLM Analyst to prepare and analyze environmental samples using Polarized Light Microscopy. You will validate data, upload results to the LIMS, and schedule workload to meet due dates.

The role requires a geology-related degree, 1–3 years lab experience, and proficiency with English and computer systems. Work is on-site with a Monday–Friday training period and evening shift hours for the specified schedule.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geology or similar is preferred.
• 1–3 years laboratory experience.
• Computer and software proficient.
• Ability to multitask.
• Candidate must distinguish colors for analysis.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Login, prepare, and analyze environmental samples for asbestos.
• Enter and report sample descriptions and analytical data using LIMS.
• Perform independent QC analysis for others’ work.
• Coordinate projects by rush status and due times.
• Train new asbestos or other analytical testing analysts as needed.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safe working area.
