Job summary
Refresco Beverages US Inc. is seeking a PLC Technician to design, program, repair and maintain PLC systems in our facilities. You will inspect equipment, perform preventative maintenance and support upgrades to improve safety and efficiency.
The role involves night shifts and overtime as needed, with relocation assistance available. You will work with production teams to diagnose issues, implement improvements and document changes.
Qualifications
- Three+ years in industrial manufacturing maintenance.
- Rockwell Maintainer certificate preferred (must be obtained within 24 months).
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs is required.
- Able to read electrical schematics.
- Able to work with panels and up to 480VAC.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to GMPs and PPE requirements.
- Lead troubleshooting during equipment failures with the maintenance team.
- Maintain, test and upgrade production equipment and packaging lines.
- Install and test new equipment; interface with machine tools.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC/automation issues.
- Calibrate and test equipment to specs.
- Assist with PLC upgrades and safety improvements.
- Modify PLC programs for optimization or new requirements.
- Maintain records of maintenance, repairs and changes.
- Train team members on basic PLC functions and troubleshooting.
