Electrical Automation Services is seeking a seasoned Controls Engineer to join our Glendale, AZ facility on site. You will program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs on high-speed beverage lines, mentor technicians, and drive automation projects that improve throughput and reliability.
This is a salaried, day-rotation role with a 2-2-3 schedule, offering relocation assistance for qualified candidates and a 20% target annual bonus.
Qualifications
- Hands-on PLC programming, not just troubleshooting: write and modify ladder logic.
- 4+ years of industrial automation or controls experience on high-speed production lines.
- Strong PLC/HMI,VFD, servo/motion, and industrial-network troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings; diagnose complex controls problems.
Responsabilités
- Serve as primary on-shift controls and automation expert.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for automated processing and packaging equipment.
- Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and network issues and restore production safely.
- Develop and execute controls projects to improve safety, quality, reliability, and throughput.
