Electrical Automation Services is seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to support a Glendale, AZ beverage manufacturing site. You will be the on-shift controls expert, diagnosing and improving PLC/HMI systems and automation across high-speed lines.

Responsibilities include Tier 1/2 troubleshooting, mentoring maintenance technicians, and leading projects to increase throughput, safety, and reliability. This is a salaried role with relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial automation or controls experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, control drawings, and technical documentation
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across PLC, HMI, VFD, servo/motion, and networks

Responsabilités

• Serve as on-shift controls and automation expert, providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting.
• Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, instrumentation, motion-control, and industrial-network issues and restore production safely.
• Identify recurring equipment problems and implement permanent corrective actions, including PLC/HMI changes.
• Develop and execute controls projects to improve safety, quality, reliability, and throughput.
• Maintain PLC/HMI program backups, electrical drawings, and change records.
