Applegreen USA Welcome Centers in Ohio seeks a Plaza Director to lead the day-to-day operations and long-term profitability of a multi-million-dollar travel plaza along a major highway.

You will drive sales, speed of service, brand standards, and food quality while mentoring a dedicated team and ensuring compliance with laws and safety standards.

This role requires flexible on-site hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with strong growth and employee benefit opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading multi-unit or big-box operations.
• Proven ability to meet sales, speed, and satisfaction targets.
• Experience maintaining brand standards and food safety.
• Able to recruit, train, and develop plaza leadership.
• Comfort working on-site with flexible hours including nights/weekends/holidays.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily activities of associates and plaza leadership to meet objectives around sales, speed of service, customer satisfaction, brand standards, and food quality & safety standards.
• Monitor progress towards financial and performance targets; implement changes to maximize performance.
• Ensure each food and beverage concept adheres to brand standards.
• Foster an engaging culture of learning, information sharing, and accountability.
• Recruit, develop, and retain strong teams across the plaza.
• Oversee hiring, coaching, training, promotions, disciplinary actions, and transfers of plaza leadership.
• Supervise plaza leadership to ensure goals are met and reports are properly managed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and laws.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Collaborate with Brand Partners, HR, Loss Prevention, Finance, and Facilities & Maintenance.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and communities.
