Job summary

Applegreen Stores is seeking a Plaza Director to manage a multi-million-dollar travel plaza along a major highway in Clyde, Ohio. You will lead a dedicated team to deliver fast, friendly service while achieving financial targets and maintaining brand standards.

You will drive profitability, oversee food/beverage concepts, and ensure compliance with policies and laws. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and a focus on customer satisfaction and cost control.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven success in multi-unit or big-box leadership.
• On-site schedule approx. 50 hours per week including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; lift/carry at least 20 pounds.
• Willingness to travel to support other locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of plaza leadership to meet sales, speed of service, customer satisfaction, and brand standards.
• Monitor financial and performance progress; implement changes to maximize profitability.
• Ensure all food/beverage concepts meet brand standards and safety requirements.
• Foster an engaging culture of learning, accountability, and teamwork.
• Recruit, develop, and retain strong plaza teams across locations.
• Oversee hiring, coaching, training, promotion, and disciplinary actions.
