Job summary

Applegreen Group is seeking a Plaza Director to lead a high-volume travel plaza along a major highway. You will drive day-to-day operations, financial performance, and guest satisfaction by guiding a dedicated team and ensuring fast, friendly service.

Responsibilities include achieving sales and quality targets, maintaining brand standards, recruiting and developing staff, and collaborating with cross-functional partners to optimize profitability and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Lead day-to-day activities of associates and plaza leadership to achieve sales, service speed, and food quality goals.
• Monitor and analyze progress towards financial and performance targets and adjust strategies.
• Ensure food/beverage concepts meet brand standards and safety requirements.
• Foster an engaging culture focused on learning, information sharing, and accountability.
• Recruit, develop, and retain strong teams; manage staffing levels across the plaza.
• Oversee hiring, coaching, promotions, disciplinary actions, and transfers for plaza leadership.
• Supervise leadership to ensure achievement of goals and proper supervision of staff.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local, state, and federal laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations and drive profitability for a multi-million-dollar plaza.
• Direct teams to meet sales, speed, brand standards, and food safety goals.
• Analyze financials and implement changes to maximize performance.
• Ensure consistency across all food/beverage concepts with brand standards.
• Develop staff through coaching, training, and career growth.
• Hire and develop plaza leadership; manage performance and attendance.
• Collaborate with HR, Loss Prevention, Finance, and Facilities to support operations.
