Applegreen USA is seeking a Plaza Director to manage day-to-day operations and long-term profitability of a multi-million-dollar travel plaza along a major highway. You will lead a dedicated team to ensure fast, friendly service and adherence to brand standards.

The role requires 5+ years of multi-unit leadership, strong cost control, and excellence in operations, food quality, and customer satisfaction, with on-site scheduling about 50 hours per week, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven success in multi-unit or big-box leadership.
• Ability to work on-site ~50 hours per week including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality, with or without accommodation.
• Able to stand, walk, and lift at least 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of associates and plaza leadership to achieve sales, speed of service, customer satisfaction, brand standards, and food quality & safety.
• Monitor financial and performance objectives and implement changes to maximize profitability.
• Ensure each food/beverage concept adheres to brand standards.
• Foster a culture of learning, accountability, and staff development.
• Recruit, develop, and retain strong teams across the plaza.
• Hire, coach, train, promote, and manage plaza leadership and their teams.
• Ensure compliance with policies and local, state, and federal laws.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Collaborate with Brand Partners, HR, Loss Prevention, Finance, and Facilities & Maintenance.
